Root setcpu is working on my Dinc

lets say i load this kernal then want to go back to the old one can i just load the old kernel or do i have to do a nand restore then titanium. in other words is there a simple way to revert back should i not like it other than what i mentioned.

you would need the stock kernel and i dont know where to find that but yes you can just reflash... or nand recovery is always my favorite options... its way less painful lol

This method worked for me, at least partially. The highest setting I get is 1 Ghz. This is great for saving battery but if I want to push the phone do I just have to restore my backup and reflast the kernel? Did anyone have issues restoring their backups from ROM manager?

ok i got this app working i think but i have no idea what optimal settings would be. could someone tell me what i should have this set at for say whil phone is sleeping, charging, etc...and for just normal use maybe. thanks

i dont think there is a perfect setting but here is mine

tried both overclocked kernels with wireless n and both froze my phone at boot after the lock screen. trying the stock with wireless n now.

EDIT: stock seems to be working ok for now. going to setup setcpu and go from there...

just to let people know... i have the old hybrid kernel and it seems to work better than the new ones and its undervolted and my battery life is way better
