Root SetCpu Settings?

i just downloaded setcpu, bcuz i heard it can save battery while the phone is sleepin or whatever.

but how do i do that? like whats settings do i press and stuff? what do i set the max and min too?

but i wanna keep my phone running at the same speed its running on now while its in use.
