Just wondered if anybody else had paid for this app? I dled it last night and have yet to work out precisely how much additional up time this will provide me.

I've setup a profile which when the screen is off underclocks the CPU to 245mhz, in addition I've also underclocked the CPU for general operation to 768mhz and can't say that I've noticed any real hit performance wise.

Of course you can change the settings on the fly. Money well spent if it gives me more up time!

Anybody else tried it yet?

I guess that the phone has to be rooted in order for this to work?

Yes, I use Visionary (search Market).

Seems to work very nicely, moderate use and I'm on 4/10 bars. That's having unplugged at 7am.

1x Exchange push, 2 IMAP Accounts, 10 SMS, 15 mins calls, 2 hours mixed browsing.
