Root SetCPU

We won't be able to overclock our phones until a safe way is found to flash a custom kernel and some one makes a kernel with overclocking support.

The stock kernel doesn't support overclocking.
 
Does anyone know if anyone is working on a Rom for this phone? I'm really wanting to go for the Commando but it's difficult to talk myself into going backward from an Incredible to the Commando. I'm hoping someone will get a ROM worked out that will unleash this phone and make it competitive (Speed) with some of the current phones.
 
go to verizon and test one because it might be 800mhz instead of the 1ghz but its super fast. I let people use it and they say its faster then there phone running at 1ghz so dont let the "800mhz" fool you.

I only want to overclock it for bragging rights :rolleyes:
 
Will do, I'm mostly wondering if it will be possible to load some of the custom ROM's on this thing.....Like CM7
One of my main hangups is that I don't like the dialer that I've seen on it. It looks like stock Moto. or maybe vanilla android in that it doesn't show the recent contacts right above the dailer. I prefer the dialer on my HTC Incredible that shows all the most recent calls directly above the dialer without having to switch tabs. I guess it's one of the few things that Sense does right.
 
Iv been looking for custom roms but as of right now there hasint been any, aparently casio locked it down tight. But im sure in time someone will get threw.
 
Yeah, that's what I"m hoping....Although, right now, there aren't enough folks with one of these phone to make for much of a demand for custom ROM's. Kinda hoping that few of us can beg/bribe one of the dev's into developing one. My guess is that this phone is based off of another standard phone build....LG/Samsung/Moto....and Casio added the rugged parts to it. Anyone know?
 
Why you need to? rooted and de-bloated this thing is fast.
