Setting a photo for yourself

Right now it just shows as the default icon next to "me" in texts. How do I set a photo for myself? (Do I just add myself as a contact -- will it then still show as "Me" instead of my name)?

Thanks!

[What device? I dont think that matters though.]

In people (or contacts) just click on the "ME" contact. It should have been there by default.

Open that contact, hit Menu then edit. From there you'll be able to edit your information and add a picture.

I have no "Me" in my contacts I am afraid... am using a Nexus S :)

Strange. Then how did you set up your gmail/google account? When you create a contact is there an option for you to make it the "me" contact?

I'm guessing that if you create a contact, with your info, the device will associate the numbers.

That does the user manual say?

Didn't see it in the "contacts" section of it!

I'll just add a contact called "Me" and see how that goes!
