Setting Razr m up for prepaid

Hi! I have a droid razr m that has been unlocked. Im a total noob and have a few questions. Are there any other steps I need to take before I set it up prepaid? Like putting in codes or anything? Im also concerned about the mhz. Will my phone operate on straight talk or net10?

From my brief look at this phone and then more looking, if your phone is SIM unlocked and the Straight talk or Net10 services offer a SIM card and use GSM, you _might_ be just fine.
