Help setting ringtones to gmail contacts

i got the fascinate about a week ago and i am already pretty knowledgeable of how android software works but the only complaint i have about this phone is you can not set up ringtones or text tones for individual contacts on this phone if there synced to gmail ... so heres the question

is there an app that bypasses this block and allows you to set up ring tones and text tones for individual contacts synced to gmail

You have to copy the contacts to your phone to assign ringtones.
