I have a new HTC Desire Z running 2.2. It keeps saying it cannot contact my server when I try to set up my yahoo.ca email account. Is there something in 2.2 that doesn't like yahoo? I had a Samsung Vibrant, 2.1, for a couple of weeks and my yahoo account set up perfectly. Please keep in mind that I am a total rookie with these smart phones so be gentle, ie no acronyms, OK?

Try the Yahoo Mail app in the market. It works better than the stock mail app anyway for yahoo.
For those new in Android and setting up their Yahoo email account. Try setting up incoming server manually using imap.mail.yahoo.com, TLS, and port 143. Outgoing server - smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com, TLS or None, port 587. The default settings of android is setup wrong and once you entered these inc and outg server details, you'll be up and running.!!
