Setting up the People widget, help please

hey everyone, firstly ill apologise cos im pretty sure this question is just me being dumb but i cant figure it out lol

anyway, when i set the People widget on one of my home screens and try to add a contact, it opens the keyboard to search a contact and yet there is none in the list and it cant find any of the people i search for in my phonebook??

like i said ive read the instruction book and read posts on here and i know this should be so simple and straightforward and yet its got me well confused lol

any help would be greatly appreciated:)

hi, I found the same thing - you have to have your contacts stored on the phone memory (mine were just stored to SIM memory). You have to import your contacts from SIM card to phone/SD card & then the phone will find them
