Help Settings / Accounts & Sync constant crashes

Hi, Today I had a need to update my accounts & sync settings but every time I go into Settings then 'Accounts & Sync' I get a force close message. I've tried restarting the phone, killing tasks etc but to no avail. I can get into the other options under settings but just not this one. Has anyone come across this before and managed to resolve it? I can't think of another option and don't really want to wipe my phone and start again. Android 2.2, stock Desire. Thanks

When you say killing tasks, How?

I'm not sure if you can clear data on accounts and sync via manage applications (I cant)

So you're stock desire, not rooted?

I use 'Android System Info' app to look at the tasks and kill anything relevant. However since I've done a reboot, I figured it probably wasn't a task running issue.

Absolutely 100% non-rooted phone.
