Help Settings backup

I want to send my One in for the screen replacement, since I managed to scratch it. Is there an app or a way to backup all my settings I did to the phone? I don't care about contacts files and apps, just all the settings I did to customize the phone. And the phone is stock, NOT rooted.

Helium doesn't require root and is used for backing up apps, I've never used it so I don't know if it does system settings too, have a look.

Most settings are/can be backed up to your Gmail account.

You've also got your HTC Backup, give that a run too.

I chatted with HTC and they said the backup was a Sense feature and it didn't work, which I find strange, since my phone does backups every few days. Are there any instruction on how to backup settings to a gmail account? I have my contacts there, but that's all as far as I know. I will be looking into Helium.
