Ok so I've owned my Samsung Galaxy S2 from AT&T for a little over a month now, I love this amazingly brilliant device. It's a HUGE step up from my motorola Razr (1st gen), and I bet you're asking "How in the hell did the razr even last so many years?" and the answer is no freaking clue. I had 3 of them total, most broke within a few months over some simple issue. Back to the real questions though.
Whenever I change the settings on my phone (ie. full brightness, screen timeout length, etc..) it ALWAYS goes back to default 15 seconds timeout, and low/auto brightness (can't remember which). I can have it stay that way for MAYBE a day at the most without it changing back. Now I thought it was a power saving plan, but it happens when I have near full battery also. Any thoughts on that?
Also, my sounds that I set for incoming texts or notifications are always the silent OR it says their name out-loud even if I change the settings.
The final question is, how come I switch my phone to the sound being "off" and whenever I get a text, it says the persons' name who texted me out-loud. It only does that when my phone sound is set to off. When the sound is on, the text I receive makes no sound.
Thanks in advance
