I have news about an app that works well with the m860, it's called setexperia. This app can over/under volt this phone, as long as it's rooted, and rom'ed. You can set a swap file, remount with noatime, set the I/O scheduler, and a lot more! I know it's meant for Sony phones, but there doesn't seem to be any ill effects from using it on the M860. Using Autorun manager, and titanium backup, can make this a very responsive phone.

Yeah, it's one half faster than it was, even after autorun mgr+autokiller were previously installed. This plays well with it. If they can fiddle with a gnex 1, and do amazing things with it, why can't amazing things be done with this? The unbrickable turd lives! By the way, if it's used, make sure the cfq setting is used.

W/that said,it depends if you want to go for performance, battery life, or, something in the middle.
I set my Input/Output Scheduler to "noop", read ahead to the standard setting of 2048, vm(virtual machine) to the same value, my battery profile to 30%, and basically experiment.
I'm still messing with the "apply voltages@ boot settings, I think you can do more with this app, than you can with the "cpu" apps. Some of the settings I leave alone, since I created a swap, ext-2, and a ext-3. Still trying to figure out the setting for "load module".
