Hi guys,
My phone got a bit wet the other day in the recent downpours. Think it is due to my very slightly cracked screen (looks like a deep scratch) but some water got in there. Was fine to begin with but could see water building up around the edges as it was left screen down. I turned it off then back on and then it wouldn't come back on properly. It booted up to the white screen with the white HTC letters and had a red led showing. It wouldn't go past this. So I left it overnight, hairdryed it as best as I could and tried it the next morning and all of the water had gone.
The problems that I am getting are:
- Security certificate warning on every website
- 'No connection, retry' on gmail and google play store (may be all internet apps?)
- Cannot update tweets on twitter. (decided to uninstall and re-install but can't as play store is not working)
- Emails won't refresh cos of the security message
- Metoffice weather app wouldn't refresh (also uninstalled)
- 'Unable to scan for networks' on WiFi, but now fixed
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!
