Root Severe Android Problems

Hello!
I rooted my phone using Z4root couple months ago. I downloaded Link2sd and realized that it could delete default apps. I was curious so I deleted Marketplace for some stupid reason. Now I don't have marketplace. I tried downloading it again, but there was a parse error. I tried factory resetting it, it didn't work. Please let me know if there is anything I can do now.
Thanks!:)

You can find a gapps (Google Apps package) from goo.im or somewhere similar. It comes in a zip file and you flash it through recovery, and that should get you back your play store :)

I downloaded the zip file to my phone... obviously it won't open. So what can I do now? I don't know much about this stuff, so please try to give more detailed answers.

Does it contain a load of apks? You could get the play store one and then copy into the system/app directory using root explorer or es file explorer
