Root Severe Market issues

You should maybe update to ApeX 1.3 for starters.

As for the new market, I've yet to install it. In fact, I plan on waiting for it to just hit my device.

Did you try clearing data and cache on the market and see if that helps?

just an FYI. i setup 2 DXs today for a friend and both had the new market app straight from VZ. you may want to install the new one cause i think the buildprop in ApeX may block a market update. ;)

Thanks for the heads up Tom. Will have to check the wife's Incredible (which I have not gotten around to rooting yet) to see if she got the new market.

In any event, I found the apk on Droid Life and installed it. So far, so good. Hopefully there are no issues with it compared to the one you posted.

No that is what Tom was saying, its blocked in the build.prop for ApeX. Install the new market from the link that he posted. I've been searching around and messing with it a little bit, its nice.
 
I had the new market yesterday, then my rom crashed and was in a boot loop so restored a backup and install Apex, and still no new market. Guess I'll have to install it manually.
 
My wife's stock D2 Global hasn't got the update yet, neither has my Apex 1.3.0 DX.
We are in WA, near Seattle/Tacoma.

I installed the new market and my phone was ok for about an hour. Then it just lost the signal totally. No phone calls, texts, or internet could be had. Reboot did not fix it.

Thankfully, I had a nandroid to restore back to. So for the remainder last night and today, no issues. Bottom line, Im not going to re-install the new market.

My wife's Droid Incredible has not received it either. Im leaving well enough alone for now. Tread lightly if you attempt to install it and make sure you have a back up!
 
Maybe they started to roll out the new Market, had some issues and pulled it.

I'll wait for it to find me.
 
bummed out new market prevents app brain from pushing apps to the phone.
used to be able to click install on an app i wanted and it was already installed on the phone when i picked it up....not anymore.
 
I'm running Fission 2.4.2 with the latest market (2.2.7) .. and everything works ok but the "my apps" section, which always returns a server error. Formatted, Reinstalled Rom does not fix it. Pretty annoying.
 
2.42 market and my apps are working just fine for me. Try going to "Running apps" and clear data and cache then force close it and retry.
