SF reception and refurb phone issues

Hello,
After getting 2 refurbs for my Incredible 4G that literally couldn't function, the semi-nice folks at Verizon changed me to a refurb Razr M. The first Razr M I sent back too because of an average of 1 bar of 4G service in downtown San Francisco and more bugs.

My second replacement has similar reception issues, but also has small silent skips when using double twist to play music and in general gets laggier as my call log gets bigger when I use the dialer etc etc... When I delete a text message thread it takes about 10 seconds to delete... My Incredible 4G functioned much better than this.

I do not use lots of apps or make lots of phone calls (150 min/month). Is this another dud, or is this typical behavior for the Razr M? I've never had these problems with my past HTC phones and am not sure if I should send it back or if I have the energy to keep dealing with Verizon...

Thanks for the help.

Wow - I, too, went through several Droid Incredible 4Gs and Verizon offered to replace with the Razr M. Honestly, I miss the Incredible. Yes, my Razr M gets bogged down under the situations you described. As for reception, I have not had similar issues. It's a decent phone overall, but I had come to enjoy some of the little extras that HTC puts on phones - such as a built in music player, more customization options, etc. Good luck.

Yeah, I agree. I like the form factor of the Razr M more than the incredible 4G... but the HTC definitely was a better performing phone. Thanks for the input.
