Help SGH-T959V Soft Keys Going Haywire

First of all I have a sgh-t959v from tmobile and I have tried factory reset. When I turn on the phone the buttons on the bottom that light up start to be activated. I can feel the slight vibration from them being pressed. It happens when I unlock the phone when I start using it the buttons will be pressed repeatedly and eventually bring me back home. It gets really annoying and stops me from having a phone. Any help will be appreciated and thanks for reading.

Welcome to the forums ThisBeShayse :hello:

If a factory reset didn't help I would think its hardware. Do you still have a warranty?

Only thing I can think of doing would be take the battery out for a minute. Then reboot and see if you still have the problem.

Well now my lock button which is also my power button refuses to work. My warranty may be voided because I have a small pink dot on the corner of the white square. The one under the battery.

Did moisture get in the phone?

It definitely sounds like a fault in the hardware. The only suggestion I have is take the back off and try some compressed air to clean it. If that doesn't help I don't know what you can do except try to get it professionally repaired.
