SGH-T989 missing IMEI

Hey there, I'm new here and also a novice flasher. I recently flashed the HellKat 4.4.2 rom on my SGH-T989. Everything works OK except for a few bugs.

I just noticed that when I tap "about phone" in system settings, there is no IMEI number. Gone. Does anyone know why? Is there a way that I can recover my IMEI number?*

Thanks. I have data. Mostly everything works fine. I just no longer have an IMEI number. Doesn't show up in "about phone" section

Can u go into the dialer and hit *#06# just tell me if it say null or numbers . Dont put the numbers on here just put if it say null

OK, I did as you said & my IMEI number showed up this way. It's there but it's just missing from the "about" section for some reason

We are about to fix this its the ROM and your imei isn't missing

Didn't work for me or I'm doing something wrong. I did all the steps on the GSII REPAIR app and got an error on the third step because I don't have a specific file/folder to proceed. Hopefully there's another way :-\

I hate to say this but try another custom ROM to see if it show

Installed another rom. Same difference, hidden IMEI. I guess its a thing with using custom roms. Thanks for taking the time to help out

This is my last resort if this don't work u will have to unroot and reroot making a backup of the nv etc . but here you go
