Help Sgs2.... battery issues

I just bought the SGS2 and I really have gotten on it today since I got last night, but I charged all night and by 12:30, it needed to be charges again. Also, Does anyone else have issues with the heat from the back, and when I went to make a call it was hot to put to my ear. I have thought about taking back and getting the Atrix 2, but I wasnt impressed with the first one, and I have waited so long for the SGS2, but if this is going to keep up, I gotta do something. Any ideas anyone?

That kind of heat is indicative of a rapidly discharging battery. I personally have not experienced that with my SGS2 and would be concerned if I did. It might be a bad battery, but i would probably have it replaced if it continued to behave that way.


Because the Galaxy S2 classification covers different models from different carriers, the forums have been split so not to cause any confusion. Select the forum appropriate to your phone.

hmmmm, maybe a bad charging cable or battery? I would bring it back to the AT&T store or wherever you bought it and have them exchange it.
