Help SGS2 battery/Overheat robot voice notifications

Hi All

Two issues I cant find answers to on the forum -

Battery - running 4.0.3 for a while fine then a few months in the battery decided to last only from 6:30am to around 14:00Pm no where near the end of the working day, unacceptable really.
It also gets very hot at random times when not plugged in - also when I turn it off (not plugged in) it seems to think its on charge and the battery icon comes on the phone gets hot crazy really when its supposed to be off - once I had the warning triangle but mainly just the spinning circle and the green battery icon.
Also the Battery icon on the home screen when my phone is on and in standby flashes not all the time but half the time

Any ideas guys ?

Random voice - Second issue is when I get a call or message or email this robotic voice interupts with telling bme what number or who is calling me ? I cannot get it off and it just happened on its own all of a sudden.

Is it worth sending this handset back as its not even 6months old and there is even dust and condensation under the camera lens

Help please please please

Thanks in advance

You can send it back, but likely they will do a factory reset then give it back to you. You could try a factory reset on your own to see if that's ok, if not just send it back under warranty.

Also, have a look at the USB port to see if its dirty or anything. Try cleaning it with a Dry toothbrush. And use original chargers when you charge.

The voice is a problem with voice talk. See if you can go into the settings and check if anything is marked for it to come on automatically. Other way, if you are not using it, you can uninstall it if you use Go Launcher.
