Help SGS3 running apex launcher need help !!!

I am running Apex Launcher on my SGS3 with Handcent. Lately when I first get a text my notiiacation light blinks 4 or 5 times & doesn't blink anymore when it goes into sleep mode.So I don't know if I have a text waiting unless I power it back on to check. Getting annoying, is there something in Apex or TouchWiz settings that I overlooked to fix it ? In TouchWiz the blue light willl stay on until I check. Any help out there ?

I run Apex but use SMS Popup- I'm guessing the issue has nothing to do with Apex & everything to do with either Handcent or stock SMS app. I've never seen LED settings specific to a particular launcher before- they would be either in the individual app or in system settings. I have never had the LED only blink a few times & then stop.

Hopefully someone will comment that has the exact setup you do...

Yeah i dont think the launcher has any control of the led or notifications
