Help SGSII and Android Beam?

[pwannell]

With the announcement of ICS for Q1 of 2012 which has got me all excited I am wondering about what will happen with Android Beam. I'm guessing that this will not be a feature we can use...?

Regards

I would love to know this also.. is android beam a feature of ICS??

Don't you require NFC for android beam?

Alas, my s2 does not have this chip.

Not sure if it was included in later versions?

Mine says 'Near Field Communication' on the battery right under the large samsung logo.. But then again I have the skyrocket LTE version.

Android Beam is a feature of ICS but I don't think we can use it since the international gs2 doesn't have the NFC chip.. Skyrocket owners are likely to get this feature though since they have NFC..

ahhh good, I was hoping we had it since it does say it on the battery lol

thanks

NFC isn't that big of a 'must have'.
