Root Shabbymod + Honeycomb + A2SD HELP

i can not get shabbymod 0.9 + honeycomb theme to work with A2sd----i tried to use link2sd to make sure ext is formated but it wont work...i cant get easues to format the partition to ext2 says error at end WTF is there a morons guide? because i cant find it sorry if it is out there and i cant find it
 
what happens when you try to install? do you get an error message or does it boot loop and what size partition are you using
