OK, I finally took the plunge and installed ICS but have a question or two. I want to install Titanium Backup but see that it can only be installed on a rooted phone. I'm willing to root my Note but understand that by rooting I will limit my upgrading of ICS. Is this right?
On checking my settings I see that I have Android 4.0.3 installed and have seen mention of Android 4.0.4 being available. Is it worth updating to each new revision as it comes out or should I just be happy with what I've got and wait until something major comes along.
Is it easier to go from 4.0.3 to higher versions of ICS than going from Android 2 to Android 4? I gather that with Titanium Backup I wont have the problems I had making the initial upgrade without a backup program in place.
Right now I'm so happy with my Note that the only thing I want is to get rid of a lot of apps that I'll never use and I guess that means rooting is in my future.
Thanks for any advice anyone can give me. I'm still at the 'baby step' stage in my understanding of Android.
