Help Share Android folders with other PCs via Wi-Fi network?

I can find lots of ways for my Android phone to access the various shared drives and folders that exisit on my local home network via Wi-Fi (e.g. my NAS, shared folders on my PC, etc) but how do I do it the other way around?

I know I can view the contents of my device when I'm connected via USB, but how do I let my PCs see the folders on my Android device so I can read/write to them wirelessly from the PCs via the network?

I'm using an HTC Desire Z if that makes any difference.

SWiFTP server works great for what your looking for, its pretty much an FTP server for your android device. You can use it over wifi or use the secure proxy over 3G.

Thanks for the tip, I actually found FTPServer via another site and it works perfectly. Now I can use proper PC-based sync software and it's working like a charm.

An added advantage is that I can log into the phone's file system whenever I want via Windows and leave the USB connection set to HTC Sync for contacts/calendar by default.
