sprint htc hero / rooted / ttg rom 0.1.5 / stock theme / espresso lockscreen

hey can you upload the wallpaper for your lockscreen?

The location is :

Code:
system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk
notice the capitals in HtcLockScreen

also, download Fresh's pre-kitchen. It has a pull, backup delete ferature. Its really sweet. You can get it HERE. One you DL and unzip open it up and got to:

Code:
Tools and Tweaks > pull / delete any file > pull any file > and then paste "system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk" without quotes > check the box to delete files from phone after pull.
It will then prompt you for a location to create a backup of the file in case you would like to push it later. Then it will ask you to verify that the file is there locally and prompt you that it will now delete it. its a really sweet utility, everyone should give it a try.

Hope that helps. If anything is unclear, just let me know.

Okay, so I'm trying to re-install the stock lock screen back on my Hero because of a few horror stories I read about LockPro, and I encountered a little problem. Here's the details:

When I run fresh PreKitchen and select "Install Apps or Push Files" and attempt to push the original file, it prompts me to "choose or type a location to push to" and I select "/system/app" because I believe that is where is was pulled from. Anyhow, when I try this, I get the following error message:

"The following error occurred:
Could not find part of the path "C:\Documents and Settings\...\adb\adb\filepush.bat'.
Please report the error you got, and what you were doing when you got it. The Kitchen is closing now."

Any idea what this means or should I just report this over at Geek for Me?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Well I just tested and pushed back a lockscreen backup that I had and it worked the first try without any errors.

Verify that you are choosing the correct file and location on your local computer that you are trying to put back.

/system/app is where the file goes and the file that you want to push is HtcLockScreen.apk.

Other than that I would let flipz know.

Sorry to admit that I can't figure it out either. I created a Flickr account and grabbed the html, put it in the "Insert image" gizmo and nuttin.

Can't speak to flicker, but if you load the pics to photobucket get the html link, and paste it via the post pic button, you should be good to go.

What I do is upload it to flickr and then click on the photo and then click "all sizes".

This is what you put into these tags without the quotes "

Thank you Boo and Theta....looks like I'll be getting re-acquainted with my Flickr account....really appreciate the help. I usually can figure things like this out, but this one had me stumped....I had been trying to use the html link in picasaweb but that didn't work...don't quite know why...
