Help Shazam & SoundHound App errors

Hi,

I recently upgraded my dual boot touchpad to CM9. (update-cm-9.0.0-RC0-Touchpad-alpha2-fullofbugs)
I've installed shazam but any time I try to tag any music I get the following alert;
"Sorry, we couldn't tag your music'
I installed SoundHound & when I try to use that I get this error;
"Unable to record Audio. SoundHound is unable to detect a working microphone. Another app may have locked the microphone. please try restarting your phone"

I've tried uninstalling, rebooting but still the same errors.
Do these applications work on CM9?

I never tried these apps on CM7 but if i can;t fix it I was planning on rebuilding the touchpad.

Any help much appreciated.

The microphone wasn't working until around June of this year and you installed a much older build of cm9. Maybe "full of bugs" is a clue as to why it doesn't work?

FWIW, only the camera isn't working on the latest versions.

Thanks a million Colchiro.

Touchpad was upgraded with ease & applications are now working & it's fixed a lot of other issues I had.

As you said, 'lots of bugs' was a hint
