Shenzen Kingdom Electronics Flytouch 3

I know iam not an expert in this section but I can suggest against ebay. Ebay users usually end up in a sweet scam that you can;t get yourself out of.

I have bought and sold nearly 1000 items on eBay. The trick is to thoroughly check out the seller before you buy. First, look at the feedback. If not virtually 100% positive, forget it. Second, reliable sellers often have a website you can visit where the sellers policies are articulated. Third, never buy anything without a generous money-back return policy. Send the seller a question and ask for his phone number. If he responds, you can call that number and check him out by phone. You should be able to tell if the seller is technically astute and both capable and willing to support what you might buy from him.

I am not certain if eBay's Buyer Protection program (See eBay Buyer Protection Page) is available outside the US. Under this plan, eBay guarantees satisfaction if there is a problem that cannot be resolved between buyer and seller. In addition, on most technology-based items, you can buy an inexpensive warranty from SquareTrade (again I'm not sure if this is available outside the US).

Even if the Buyer Protection Plan and Warranties are not available in your country, if you follow my advice, you should have a positive experience.

Ummm... I do have a 100% rating with ebay but I think you are being a little too critical... it is all too easy to get a really awkward buyer or seller and the occasionalneutral or even negative feedback is a bit like a speeding ticket.... you are bound to end up with one sometime!.. I think the operative word here is OCCASIONAL!

I wouldn't calling Chinagrabbers fast shipping a BS as I got my tablet from China to Finland in 10 days, it was sent from china a day after the purchase

But then again you are very pro-chinagrabber and are well known to defend them against all-comers, the fact is that Chinagrabber are no better or worse than any other company shipping goods over half the globe.....sometimes their service is very quick and sometimes their service is very poor.......If you want the goods tomorrow, go get them from your local shop!

I've bought many things from China. Not 100% for sure, but items shipped from Hong Kong appear to get here (US) faster than things shipped from the mainland. Probably has something to do with the way customs handles shipments from China.

Here is a potential warning to US buyers.

The Chinese are supplying false ID cards that are indistinguishable from the real thing. Mostly kids are buying them for drivers licenses and to prove they aren't under age. These cards are hidden in shipments of everything from laptop computers to boxes of candy. As a result, US customs says it is going to step up inspection of one-off shipments from China. That will undoubtedly slow things down a bit.

I just know that Chinagrabber is reliable only in the part of shipping to you what their description says. Afar from that they are like the rest of china suppliers with probably a higher rate of sending you something that works. I have been getting tons of emails about their cool offers and stuff and yet there is no way I could trust them with anything but buying a flytouch pad. From all the reviews and experiences I read abotu chinagrabber, the ones that were random products were bad experiences and with flytouch only a couple of bad with the majority saying that it was fine.

When I look at all those close cellphones tab and laptops that you can buy from shops in china I really think they will be nice quality or at least passable. But for a reason I know the ones that will be shipped out of china will never reach the quality of the ones you will buy straight from it.

The reason I am happy with my facepad is because it works and for its money exceeds my expectations. I am very happy to say that thanks to it I liked android enough to buy an android phone only to like android even more. I have only found one bad thing about my facepad which still is passable for its price and that's the angle of view.

I am sure that we do not have any tabs in any local store and even if w had here in Greece prices go that high that it doesn't worth it. If I had another chance I would still go with chinagrabber because even if I had a chance of the item to be problematic I would not worry if it will have something else inside the case from what the description says.

If your that worried over ending up with a problematic tablet just go to a local store look at a couple cheap tablets and come on these forums and look them up. The main reason I bought facepad after all is that I can come on here and look for support.

I would pick them from a local shop but the problem here is they sell shitty copies for a huge price. The worst I've seen was a "Flytouch3" for 399e.. it's over $500 !! No real Flytouch3 here anywhere.. so what would you do? ;)

I've never had a problem with good Chinese sellers, Chinagrabber being one of them, so I am "pro china" on this one :)

Hi guys,

So I've just bought my flytouch from chinagrabbers.
What is the average delivery time in your experiences to receive items from China/ HK?

Oh and as soon as I get it, what should I do best to get good battery life from the start?
What is the best way to step by step calibrate the battery?
Much help appreciated!

Just joined and adding my experience so far.

Ordered my ft3 from chinagrabber Aug 23. Arrived Sept 1.

Wifi seems fine. Not sure if Ethernet is working
Everything seems OK so far
Have not tried out the HDMI
Have to get used to the touchscreen. At times it does not seem sensitive enough.
Battery seems OK so far.
Have downloaded some apps from android market and things seem good

How is the battery life? You should try a stress test. And are you going to install tim's rom on it?

The battery life has so far gone over 5 hours in one sitting and there was still battery life left so that is a good sign.

I have been trying to find out if there is somewhere it will tell me what the battery mah in it is but no luck so far.

I accidentally threw away the screen protector thinking that it was causing the buggy response from the touch screen but the response of the touch screen is no better.

I am used to the touch screen of my cell phone Samsung Galaxy Apollo so it will take a bit before I get used to this touch screen

There are usually 2 screen protectos. The second is cut fit and a little hard to get off. But taking it off did make my touchscreen pretty much perfect for a resistive touchscreen.

In my initial rush to get it working I can not recall if I took off 1 or 2 screen protectors. I just looked very close (with a magnifying glass) and I can not see an edge for another screen protector. I even tried picking at an edge with a tool with nothing coming up.

Hi guys,

According to the Admin at apad.tv he says average shipping times from Chinagrabber to the rest of the world are free shipping 10 to 20 days from time of purchase, but says often people get their items faster but they say 10 to 20 days to cover themselves for any delays. He said for example China to UK 6 days and no tax to pay upon arrival for a flytouch 3. There are some cases where shipping takes longer. Tracking numbers are given for Flytouch tablets I believe, judging by the number of people who post saying they are tracking their tablets.

Yes, you're right. The item was dispatched on tuesday morning.
No status updates since. I wonder how long it will take for the dutch postal service to receive it. It can't be that it costs 3 days of airmail alone ?
