Well, that ended rather quickly, one minute I was enjoying my phone loving the hell out of it, the next it won't go past the One touch fierce splash screen :'( I don't know if I can slip it past metro as one of their faulty update. It would have been amazing if the company would give out the update.zip files so I could just flash update.zip from SD card. Well until I get a new phone I'm back to my old zte avid. Its been a lot of fun messing around with this phone, and helping out the community. Let this be a warning to everyone, don't mess with init.d settings, or build.prop just to get a damn music app working. Honestly I don't think it was the build.prop, more of the init.d. either way stay away from them, just a fair warning.

I fried mine with 12volts thru the USB. That way they couldn't see any files etc and made it look like just a hardware defect.

I was just going to pull the "It updated by itself while I was sleeping" card. But if that doesn't work, how exactly would I go about doing that? Also, I had a buddy that worked at metro, his supervisor had said that assurion, the insurance company doesn't look for root when looking at the device.

Okay so I took it to metro and they pushed the old software through to the device, it booted up and took root off, then they updated me to the newest software. After getting the phone back and paying 30 dollars. Its bricked again, anybody know how to override files on the device with backup files I have on the device?

So your phone got fixed and got bricked again? What?!

Oh yeah, another thing that bricks your phone, using Android Tweaker, if you edit the Dalvik Heap Size VM, and set it to ANYTHING else through there, it will brick your phone

EDIT:

That's only if no one knew about this, just saying.
