Shipment Delayed More than 30 days!

    WTH?!

    The Darling Bride reserved the phone... pre-ordered it DURING the Unpacked event... and...? She received an email this afternoon apologizing, but her S22 Ultra is "delayed more than 30 days"! This was after our credit card was zapped this morning for the price of the phone.

    Usually the credit card is charged when the phone is boxed up and ready for shipment. I've never heard of Samsung charging the card and then emailing about a delay.

    Any ideas?

    I have no idea but I feel your pain. I haven't received an update on mine since release day other than generic responses from BB customer support saying you'll get it ASAP. This entire launch has been a fiasco.

    I even got so impatient as to try an S22 today and just returned it after 5 hours, most of which was transferring data. After having a Note the past few years the S22 felt like a toy phone, size and weight wise.

    did she ordere anything else? like earbuds? maybe they might have shipped those and thus the charge was applied.....?

    Nope, just the phone. They've been "customizing" it for nearly a month. Now this? Perhaps the 30-day delay started at the order date, not the date of the email. You'd think for the trouble they'd throw in a couple of months of Care Plus for at no cost... she did subscribe to that. As technologically declined as she is (bless her heart), she may need it.

    Hopefully the Z Fold 4 launch will be a little smoother than this one was.

    I missed the initial order / ship cut when ordering my S21. I was informed the shipping would be delayed by two weeks. The next day I received an email saying my order had shipped. I was happy to get my phone but was left with the feeling Sammy did not have their stuff together. Hopefully your wife's order will ship in short order. Waiting is a killer and being billed and not shipped leaves a person uneasy.

    "Shipping and distribution delays have made it difficult for us to make your device available to you. However, we anticipate having it next week, and should have it shipped out to you by March 21st."

    GRRRR! Shipping and distribution delays? They haven't shipped it yet! I told the Darling Bride she needs to talk with Samsung and demand overnight shipping, at minimum.

    Hi Chief! I ordered my 512 GB in Ice Blue online from Samsung the evening of the Unpacked event. I received an email that it was delayed on 3/5. It arrived yesterday (3/15).

    Called BB to get a status update since their site was showing, and still is as of writing this, that the exact configuration of my pre-order was available to purchase and be delivered in 2 days. I pointed this out to the service rep and the sob hung up on me.

    I canceled my order and ordered the same configuration but unlocked from Amazon for delivery in 2 days.

    Yes, but after the rudeness and lack of communication/updates I will only be a BB customer if I have to have something same day and I will hold my nose while doing so. This entire debacle has permanently soured my perception of their business.

    I had an issue with Amazon semi-related to the purchase of the S22 Ultra I ordered from them. It was because I purchased it entirely with freshly bought and activated gift cards (4X Kroger fuel points!) and their system flagged it as potentially fraudulent. Delayed the receipt of my order until Monday but the issue was resolved within minutes of sending copies of my receipt and images of the gift cards. That's customer service.

    I'll never buy anything from Best Buy. Their return window closes after only 15 days! Not nearly enough time for many problems to become apparent. At any rate, that ugly coral color will have a horrible resale value - she is not happy with it and it's boxed up for return. If Samsung advertises red, it had better be RED!

    I only do when I need something same day usually anyway and mostly PC related when I have the benefit of a manufacturer warranty.

    Is she getting a different color?

    I got the ice blue 512 gb ultra. It arrived March 12th. I put a case on it with a glass protector for the camera array. So you can't see any of the color on the phone. I only wanted the blue because the s pen is blue so easier to see if/when I drop it. The watch arrived yesterday. The buds shipped with delivery date of the 17th. They were in Georgia on their way to Alabama and somehow took a detour to Oregon! Now they're back in Texas where they shipped from initially. Gotta love Fedex's efficiency. Hopefully everyone will get their orders soon.
