Shipping Notification!!

Mine is stuck in Oakland and is being shipped by ground. If yours is also by ground I think you may see it sometime around may 1rst. I'm guessing I'll be telling them EXACTLY what they can do with that package around the 30th.

what makes you think its going ground? Does it say ground on your tracking details? Where are you located?
 
WHY THE hell did i get 2 DAY shipping when I specifically paid 8.99 for One day shipping? Is there any way I can call them up to fix this?

The fact that Fedex told me on the phone it's ground in spite of paying for overnight. Something the Verizon rep verified later. I will only be more than eager to tell them where to stick it on the 30th if it even gets here by then. I really don't blame Fedex. Ground usually takes 4-7 days or so and that's what THEY were paid. I on the other hand paid for overnight.

Dude...why don't you and I meet somewhere along I-80 this afternoon and hijack this fedex truck??? lol Our phones are obviously on the same truck and hopefully keeping each other company! I'm assuming they'll arrive in Sacramento this evening, and out for delivery tomorrow morning. Hmmm...I might have to take a sick day tomorrow and camp out on my front porch!!!

Have you checked your tracking number to verify. It will say on the tracking details what service it is. They were giving every preorder 2nd day shipping for free. I don't see why they would have shipped yours ground. Especially since it went through Oakland. A ground shipment wouldn't have gone through oakland. In my experience VZ phone reps rarely know squat.

I will be at my fedex facility at 9am to pick mine up! :)
 
If Fedex doesn't get the phone to me before 5PM on the 29th, I'll have to pay someone to drive me to the Fedex facility to pick it up. yay.

Mine also just left Oakland via GROUND. Next stop should be Portland, OR around 6am assuming the driver doesn't sleep over. Otherwise maybe around 3pm Wendsday.

If only mine were at Oakland. I'd call them right now to tell them to hold off on deliver, I'll pick it up there!

Its fedex... this is how they operate. Dont worry. if it says ontime. It should be there ontime.

I ship a lot of stuff with fedex and receive a lot of stuff from them. They have their ways and they very rarely mess up anything i have shipped or received.

I'm in roseville. My facility is in Rocklin. I'm sure there is another facility in Sac. They know me pretty well there. Some others seem to not had luck getting them to hold it for them at the facility. usually takes a delivery attempt. Its at the facilities discretion

Since I'm a corporate client several reps contacted me. All verified that sure enough it's being sent ground. Fedex also has told me it's being send via ground. Tracking states it's second day but that's not what fedex is sending it by because 2nd day is air. My package is being driven on the ground very slowly. Of course it's probably not that slow, the driver needs to take breaks and sleep.

Ahhh...certainly helps to have connections (which I don't!) lol

I live in downtown Sac, and I have NO IDEA where the fedex facility is! Oh well, I suppose I can wait until it's delivered tomorrow. Hell, I've waited this long! Good luck picking it up...I expect to see some happy posts from you tomorrow!!! Cheers!

Dude if it says second day on your tracking ... then its second day. Generally corporate clients get the royal treatment. I bet you it shows up in your area tomorrow and out for delivery.

Mine has left the building! Somewhere between Memphis, TN and Madison, WI is a FedEx box with a pretty little phone for yours truly! :)
