Shoebox Testing!

If you fear for light leakage (even tho it usually develops after you own it for a week)

I was thinking....


bring a shoebox to your store and ask to see the unit you're getting and put it in shoebox and look through a hole cut

and see if there is obvious light leakage --


just an idea haha

i may do that on my next one if my 2nd one (1st one returned for light leakage/screen separation) develops any worse than currently is (2 little little light leak spots like super tiny) -- right now i can live with it but if it gets worse

I will use... the shoebox method ... maybe

Excellent idea, as this seems to be affecting a very small percentage of phones right from the get-go, its good to have a way to test that before you walk out of the store.
 
Yea, I would pay to see someone walk into a sprint store with a shoebox. I would pee myself laughing.
 
I shall rise for this challenge. If my current light leakage situation gets any worse than it is, I'll actually clear off my memory card in my camera, bring a friend along, and record the whole thing. I'll even get at least 5 different reps and employees to peer through a cutout. IT SHALL BE HUMOROUS!
