Shortcut To SD Card???

I recently just moved all my grandson's photos and videos from the internal storage to an sd card we bought for him. We used to use the "Gallery" app to access his photos but that only accesses the internal storage, which was full and the app wouldn't let us in. I was wondering if there was a way to create a shortcut on the home screen for quick access to his photos. Right now we use the "My Files" app and then choose "extSdCard" >DCIM>Camera.

Try viewing them with QuickPic, a must-have graphics app.

That's weird. My Gallery app reads my external SD card. What phone do you have?

for the gallery to show pictures that are stored on sd card you have to make a folder on sd card named pictures then put all your pcs in it.it will not show any pictures that are on the root of sd card.must be in a folder on sd card called pictures.


Also any music on sd card must be in its own folder on sd card called music.

Actually, I don't know what phone you have but my devices show pictures on my SD card regardless of what folder they are in.

the only time my device refuse to show media is if there is a file in the folder (named whatever) called .nomedia this will prevent the apps from loading files from that folder. normally you would find this in a cache folder that displays thumbnails from internet sites and other apps.
