Root Shortcuts on 2.2

I tried to place my shortcuts on 2.2 but I was having a major problem placing them on the bottom row. Without the thing turning into a trash can, almost everytime I tried to place one there, it would vanish. I literally had to have it 2 pixels under the above row or it wouldn't take. Does anyone else have this problem with 2.2 roms?

What launcher and ROM are you using?
 
Does this happen in all 2.2 roms with the default launcher or just this particular one?

I am not talking about putting them ON the launcher, I'm talking about putting them on the bottom row of the homescreen.

As I said, unless I'm perfect to within 1 pixel, it doesn't take. I'm asking if that's unique to this rom.
 
It is not normal, I was running the ROM you mention for at least a week, I've never had any problems placing shortcuts.
 
why dont you try to place them while in widescreen mode instead of landscape mode. That should fix the issue.
