Root Should I add the ROM?

The Gingersteem ROM comes with a 1.5 GHz kernel, pailing in comparison to Plague's 1.7 kernel. Do the ROM benefits outweigh the 200 MHz I'd lose? Can I use the Plague kernel with the ROM? Does the HDMI work?

I'm running the gingeesteem rom with the new plague kernel at 1.8 its running really smooth, as for the hdmi I'm not sure yet but thanks to a tip on the forums I am getting a hdmi cable + mini keyboard for 25$ in on Friday I will check it out

200-300mHz is not going to be much of a difference.

The main thing that The 200-300 mhz would fix is a random little lag here and there and lower the effects of bigger lags.
