I heard the Samsung Galaxy Ace was a slightly better buy, but all my family have HTC's so I had my heart set on that.
I very nearly got the Wildfire S which my girlfriend has, but I went for the Desire C in the end. I have mixed feelings about this. The Wildfire S is better quality and they left loads of things off the Desire C. The real advantage of the Desire C over the Wildfire S is the storage. If it wasn't for that I would probably recommend the Wildfire S over the Desire C to be honest. All the shops say the Desire C is better but really it isn't (apart from bigger storage).
