Should I go for Galaxy S I9000?

Hi All,

As Galaxy S I9000 is around for more than a year now and many new models are lined up to launch, will it be prudent to purchase Galaxy S?

How long, considering from today, will Galaxy S be able to compete on hardware and software front with the new models?

I am a GT-I9000 user since Nov 2010. After the launch of SGS-2, I checked it and compared to my phone. Really it didn't appeal me.

It depends upon personal choice, I will not upgrade untill any need arises, SGS fulfills all my needs.

BTW, do you miss camera flash? How's your experience SAMOLED ang Gorilla display?

its a lot cheaper than the s2, and it can still hold its own... Depends if you need, or are willing to pay or the latest tech.

i have gt i9000 which is exactly the same as yours, very happy with it especially since 2.3.

when i upgraded six months back i could have for more cost upgraded to s2 but there was chatter about low battery life due to dual core processor.

is this true?

Due a free upgrade soon and will probably go for the SGS2 but also considering the SGS plus(1.4 GHz processor and Gingerbread) or an outside chance of the LG Optimus 3D
