Should I go from Dx to Razr or Droid 4?

I have had my Droid X since launch and I am on my second "refurb" now from my insurance company. The only problems I seem to have, that seem to be consistent with the three Droid Xs I have had are: One, I no longer have a screen lock unless I set up a password. Two, I have to power cycle my phone between one to three times a day depending on how laggy it gets just to get it to run smooth again. (no task killers I have tried or memory programs have helped.) Finally, The phone seems to have a mind of its own at times whether it is calling people randomly even when sitting on a table across the room, or just power cycling itself, amongst other oddities. Tech support although they try diligently to help ( insert sarcasm ) is completely useless and always ends up sending me a "newsed" phone and as we all know refurbs had a problem when they were sent back to the manufacturer and chances are unless it was simply a broken screen and nothing else, that problem is not going to be fixed by factory resetting the device and running a level 1 diagnostic on it.

This being said, I am with Verizon and I have narrowed my choices down to the Droid Razr or the Droid 4 (mostly for the keyboard that I miss so much!) and I am looking for some pros and cons to help me decide. Thanks!

Hello,
first lets start with your DX try to root and flash a rom to that DX unless you
have the accepted .621 update its in the about phone settings check it
first plz. I do not know your need and ideas about phones what you want with
them, Razr Maxx awesome battery if you can not recharge the phone so easily
the razr 4 a razr with a keyboard. Now here is a idea the quad cores are coming soon, really think about this and good luck to you

personally it would be your choice to make, you need to play with each device to get a feel for what you want, the razr maxx (IMHO) is the best device on moto brand to go for, they will all have locked bootloaders, unless you decide to become a part of the rooting/modding community, then you will want to pick a different device

Maxx has great battery life and a larger screen than the Droid 4. Going from the DX to the D4 screen size will be noticeable but I'm sure you'll get used to it. The D4 resolution is driving some people away (it looks washed out and you can see the pixels). If you NEED a physical keyboard then the D4 may be for you.

There are a few new phones coming out on the next month but isn't that always the case

Try them out in the store and you will find your answer pretty quick.
