I like the new feature where you can see what apps pops up and go straight to the app. I notice that apps like tasker, avast, adblock show up in the notification tray, and all my other notifications are summarized in a small bar. I noticed that when I long press the avast notification, I can go to the app settings and untick the show notification. Is it safe for me to do so? Will avast and all of the other software still run in the background if I untick the option?
