Help Should I remove power manager like atk

Well Im new to the Android world and have been learning alot from these forums. I actually uninstalled my ATK and installed system panel after reading posts on here. My question is should I also remove my power manager as this may also be doing more harm than good?

I've been searching (nothing for ATK) but several threads say that ATK is more harmful than good? I've noticed considerable battery improvements. Am I still hurting my Incredible? Can you point me to the right areas on this forum that might explain the pros and cons please? THANK YOU!

Hi I actually uninstalled it because of everything I was reading that ATK was more harmful. Just do a search and you will see all the topics. I wanted to know if the power saver app was actually more harmful and draining more battery than saving.

system panel is the way to go. its so much more than a task killer. Atk will, if not managed correctly, deff do more harm than good, i.e. kill essential system files. If you notice battery improvement from using atk then you have a bad app installed that wont let phone sleep properly. Thats where systempanel comes in, also batteryleft is great for tracking 'partial wake usage'

I just need to point this out (the anally retentive computer/Linux nerd in me), but power management is not handled by atk or any other app. While they can give a GUI to you for changing power profiles (what is given power and what is not), true power management is handled at the kernel level.
