Should i remove sim card before reset??

Hi Folks

I need to do a Factory reset on my Desire, and just wondered if i should remove the SIM card before i do it , just wondered if it would remove any operator settings

The hard reset only wipes everything on the phone memory, and leaves the SD card and SIM card alone; So remember to backup your apps etc to the SD card to save time.
