Root Should I unroot?

I rooted my Inc 2 using the revolutionary method, and was thinking about taking my phone to the Verizon Store to replace it with another one. My charge port is loose, but functional, my rear door is SUPER squeaky (more than my original Inc), and I have a chip on the side of the phone. I know that they will take it back, but do I have to unroot so as not to get in trouble later? I am running the stock rom.

There is a very slight chance that they will notice that your phone was rooted. Then they charge you retail for the replacement. Is it worth $600 to you to avoid unrooting?

could always try to get S on. Do you have the warranty? Perhaps you have the receipt and it hasnt been 90 days? If so they likely will. But, the slight looseness of the charge port is like that on every Inc2. What do you mean ur door is squeaky? and a chip?

Yeah, I unrooted using a great thread on Android Community and a post on the Unlockr.com. If anyone needs the links, i will get them for you. I have also been having network connection issues since day one. Yeah, though, I have a chip on the body of my phone, like a piece of it broke off! I baby this thing, too. They are sending me a refurb... We'll see. I was told that they refurbish phones that were only used slightly, and you get all new housing pieces, like the glass and body. Anyone know if that is true?

Here's the one from Android Central (sorry, not Android Community):
[GUIDE] Unroot Revolutionary on the Incredible 2 - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com
It's a really good thread, but because of the Government shutting down MegaUpload, the 2nd link is dead. Fortunately, you can get the same .zip from The Unlockr here:
How To Unroot and Return the Droid Incredible 2 Back to Stock - TheUnlockrTheUnlockr
My advice, read both. But if there is any discrepancy between the two, listen to Android Central. I did, and it was flawless (really, I only used Unlockr for the 2nd .zip).
