should i update to 2.2?

hello i currently have a moto droid running 2.1 that is rooted an themed, would it be worth it to update to 2.2? an is there any downsides to the update?

My phone came with 2.2. so I don't need the update myself. It is reportedly more stable than 2.1. It will add lots of new features to your phone too, and not just be more stable. You can see a list of new things it'll add here: Android 2.2 Platform Highlights | Android Developers

In my opinion it is rubbish made my phone slow. Internet is really slow. Don't need the extra crap features like flash light.

That 'crap feature' isn't Froyo / 2.2 related. That's something HTC threw in with the 2.2 update. The OP is on a Motorola phone.

I'd say do it. You'll all but certainly see a performance upgrade. If you don't like it you can always go back to 2.1.
