Should I upgrade from Infuse to Galaxy S2?

Hi. First post ever.

I just bought the Samsung Infuse about couple weeks ago. During that time, Galaxy S2 came out in the U.S.

So I was wondering if you guys can help me choose if I should keep the Infuse for the next couple years or get the Galaxy S2.

The place I bought it from would allow me to exchange phones but with a $35 re-stocking fee.

I like everything about the INFUSE except that the GPS (using Google Navigation app) is very slow and is unreliable. I used to have an iphone and I relied on its GPS a lot. But I do like android interface over apples.

So if anyone has experience using Infuse AND Galaxy S2, can you guys give me some insight on which phone should I pick? (not worried about the higher price) Should I just stay with my Infuse? or upgrade to Galaxy S2?

I use my phone mainly for texting, camera, internet, talking and GPS.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the responses.

Yeah GPS is HUGE for me so I need it to be pretty reliable. It looks like everyone agrees on the GPS aspect.

You need to upgrade to an SG2. I purchasd the Infuse about 2 weeks before the Galaxy 2 was launched in the States...and what a mistake that was. GPS never tracked satellites. And when it did, it took forever. The Infuse slows down tremendously when more than 3 apps are open. It also used Froyo 2.2. Gingerbread is much more pleasing. For $50-$100, it'll be the best money spent. Also, let your retailer know that the GPS doesn't work and they'll waive the restocking fee.

Besides the screen the GS2 is a better performer. Plus it has the latest OS installed and the infuse probably wont see ice cream sandwich.

Get the GS2! It is a great phone. I had the Infuse and returned it for the Atrix and then got the GS2. Best decision I ever made. I runs circles around the Infuse, although the Infuse seemed to have better music audio compared to the GS2.

Thanks for all your answers.

I just did exactly that. Refunded my Infuse 4G (it was a legit phone too) for Samsung Galaxy S2 (holy crap, its super fast and the interface looks better)
