Im running a htc desire at min is it worth upgrading to the dhd and can.it b unlocked

I have just upgraded to a Desire HD from a Desire and at first was'nt sure if it was worth it but after using the phone for about a week i have not looked back. I upgraded for free and would defo recommend if thats the case for u, but if the HD would come at a cost i would seriously consider waiting as i am sure there are some awesome new HTC phones over the horizon. And i am sure there is a way to un lock the phone but there are many people better qualified to answer that on here. Hope this helps.

I recently was looking at swapping the DHD for a better phone, but if you google "Best Android Phone", all the sites say the same thing

3rd - Galaxy S (or Nexus S on some)
2nd - Desire HD
1st - Desire

The HD would have gotten first place but the battery life is terrible.

I've personally opted not to swap my HD because I'd miss the huge screen
