Help Should I wait for fix or try and swap phone?

I am among those who has experienced call quality issues. HTC currently states they are working on a fix. While I can make calls and they dont always sound horrible, but sometimes its just annoying on my end, and my g/f has told ive sounded like im underwater a few times. I dont think this is a signal issue as my signal level has looked fine.

I bought the phone from Best Buy and chose the Verizon insurance (I am regretting that now, perhaps I shouldve taken the Best Buy insurance for easy swap out if they would swap it out over this). I signed up for a new contract with Verizon to get this phone.

Now the question is should I wait, praying whatever HTC comes up with indeed fixes my issue? Or should I try to swap out the phone as soon as I can? Or do I really have no choice in the matter, being that the phones are still out of stock and from what I hear, Verizon does not give you a replacement phone before you send off yours?

I guess it would depend on rather or not you find the issues annoying enough that you don't want to deal with them. My personal recommendation is to see if they will swap out the phone. They will probably want to do troubleshooting before they send a new phone, but it could be a handset issue that will be fixed with the exchange. If the exchange doesn't work for you, you can then wait for the fix from the company. There isn't a real guarantee that Verizon will swap it for you, either, since they are sometimes sticklers about it, but that's just what I would do in your situation.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your call quality. Your issues are the cause of purchasing a deffective unit or bad cell coverage. Please stop by your nearest Verizon store and ask for assistance. It should be covered under our 1-Year warranty.

Thank you!

Ill try that. Im just not sure if I should go to Best Buy, where I bought it, or a Verizon store. Or if I should wait for the fix from HTC that they say they are working on since Verizon does not, from what ive heard, give you a replacement phone when you send yours in. That and Incredibles are scarce right now
