Should I wait?

I currently have the Samsung Captivate, but on Dec 28th I have the option of getting an early upgrade. I've wanted the PLAY since I first heard about it, but it was not offered through AT&T when I got my phone. Recently saw a post about a possible Play Version2, and wondering if I should wait for it.

that all depends, if you play the waiting game, you will continue to play the waiting game. if you heard the play2 is coming out soon, you need to have solid evidence for your own records so you can know when to expect it

I was sort of thinking the same thing when I got my phone. Then I remembered Sony is the worst at keeping secrets in the industry. After all, I'm pretty sure we got photos of the Xperia Play months before it was actually released. If they were making a 2nd version it would have likely been leaked by now.

That being said, if you are just eligible for the early upgrade, which I'm guessing is not the full discount, I'd be more willing to wait unless you really hate your Captivate.
