Should I wait?

Well it all depends are what you are waiting for, if your waiting to see a price drop in the new month or so I highly doubt you will see a price drop or sale anytime soon. If your eager to get your hands on this phone don't waste anytime and order it. As you can see from other threads people are getting very impatient and wanting this phone :p Do you feel its time to move on to bigger and better things? lol I had the Moto Triumph which wasn't a bad phone if you just wanted to text I was ready to jump on this phone as soon as I found out about it and pre-ordered it <------------still waiting for it to be shipped though. There hasn't been any solid reviews on the EVO V yet from users, but I am hoping its the same experience as the EVO 3D fingers crossed

Maybe I am paranoid, but I would personally wait a little bit to see the reviews from folks with the actual device on VM and not stuff from the Evo 3D. Give it a week or two and see what the folks here say. That way you can see the reactions after the "Oh look, a new toy!" has worn off. ;) As many people (and not anyone in particular here!) tend to have their judgement clouded for a bit after buying a new device like this.Hopefully it all works like people are hoping! In which case if you want to get one I would soon after you hear from folks who have used it for a little bit.

If you're going to wait for a sale, I think it will be quite a while (at least Thanksgiving, imo). So it's up to you whether you want to wait that long.

Nice to see agentc13 outside of the Triumph forum. Was not expecting a sale or a price drop or anything like that. Just that personally I find messing around and trying to MOD a device more enjoyable then I do actually using the device. Was more thinking about waiting until there is at-least a reliable recovery available but also thinking that since the device has technically been around for a bit that development may come pretty fast and furious. Still love my Triumph but otherwise gave my Moms $300 bills a few weeks ago with the condition that it had to be used for this phone.

The recoveries should be identical to the Evo 3D's. To which I will recommend 4EXTRecovery. It is an awesome recovery. When I use my tablet that uses CWM, I feel like I'm in the stone age.

Thanks I will definitely check that out. I like to stay away from CWM when I can. Not that I think there is anything wrong with CWM I just like supporting other developers if given the opportunity. Otherwise I am now using TWRP on my other devices but am always down for checking out the unfamiliar.

I have had both of my Radio Shack & Virgin orders cancelled.

I was going to reorder, but I prefer to take my chances with retailers who are scheduled to start selling the phone on June. 10. I am counting on Best Buy to have one of their coupon weekends next weekend. They usually give 10% on non-contract phones, so I could get the phone for $269.99 plus tax.

I also have a Target RedCard which offers 5% off, making the phone $284.99.

Ordering the phone from an online vendor would only get you the phone by late next week--just 1-2 days before you could pick one up in a store.

My current phone is working fine, so I can be patient until next Sunday. :)

The official price won't drop in that time. However, if you monitor a site like Slickdeals.net for a good price you will likely be able to find a deal. I'd be surprised if you couldn't snag it for 250 or less from somewhere over the next few months.

Maybe. On the other hand, I purchased the $300 Triumph during it's first week of release at Best Buy for the discounted price of $223 (after taxes).
