Should it only sync one way?

I have an HTC Desire with Froyo 2.2 installed. On my laptop I use Outlook 2007. I have HTC Sync v3.0.5481 installed on the same laptop.

Inside HTC sync I have the 'People' option set to sync 'on' with data conflicts set to 'Most recently updated'.

When I enter a new contact in Outlook on my laptop and then sync (via HTC Sync) with my phone the new contact will appear in the 'HTC People' directory of my phone. So no problem there.

But if I enter a new contact on my phone and sync via HTC Sync the contact does not appear in Outlook on my laptop.

Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

I beleive it is only suppose to syn from PC to Phone.

oh wow, that's pretty rubbish... often I add people's details straight into my phone and later I want them to sync into Outlook.... not do the process twice!

It syncs both ways normally, but it's very buggy. I gave up on it quite a while ago.

Then simply stop using HTC Sync.
Use MyPhoneExplorer to sync/backup the phone data with your PC (also with Outlook).

I need some help!!! anyone out there want to help out a noob ?? I recently rooted my phone and I noticed that I had two facebook apps so I deleted one of them thinking that it was a waste of space. Well I realized that the app I deleted was the htc sense facebook apk. I have tried to download it back through certain links and my evo will not allow the installation. I have been trying to figured this out for weeks.... Can anyone help out a noob?? I would greatly appreciate it, Im freaking out Thank You!!!

Did you make a nandroid right after you rooted and before you deleted anything? Just restore it.
